I just typed a long post but something happened and my page closed down. I lost it.
Does that "auto-saved" function offer any help at recovery of it?

If it was in response to another post , click reply again and it should come back up and ask you if you want the previously saved...If it was a brand new post then go back to the forum you were posting in and start to do it over again with the same title and see if the window does not come up and ask you if you want the previously saved text...good luck.

Yes, go back to exactly where you where and it should offer a "restore auto saved content" option in the lower left corner of the text box.

It may NOT be available now however since you stared a new post.

Brin and Kenny---It worked! My old post popped back up and saved my bacon yet again.
Wow, I came for the tractor info and stayed for the technology.
Very impressive.

Oh, I had moved on to another post but started a new post and just waved my curser around and the old info just showed up.
