TractorByNet is very good with saving and restoring messages when one closes a page.
However, I periodically lose a message that I've typed. Often all the way at the end of the message, then it just vanishes. Or, perhaps leaving only the quoted text.
What I think is happening is that somehow I'm hitting refresh (Ctrl-R).
I don't know if it is fat fingers typing, or if somehow the command is slipping through for some other reason. Nonetheless, the message seems to just be gone.
Other websites trap a refresh. So, in GMAIL, one gets prompted:
"This page is asking you to confirm that you want to leave --- information you've entered may not be saved"
Anyway, losing one's message can be annoying.
