Poor Man\'s Top Link

I have an unused hyd cylinder laying around, and was wondering if i could slap it on for a cheap adjustable top link? I read that someone has done it. Also, the FORD 5610 that it will go on, only has one remote (for the loader, NH 7210). Can I just T off of those lines (I didnt notice a PB port on the loader control block, so would that make it closed center, and more feasible?) Someone has even T-ed lines to an open center block, so assuming that i dont need much pressure, could that work for an open center block? It will have a sole purpose for the box blade, which I dont use much as it is, so the simplest (and cheapest!) is what I am looking for. Can or no-can do?

Just because there is no PB outlet port does not mean it's closed center. So you are saying that there are only 6 hoses coming from the loader valve?

I am not familiar with the Ford 5610 hydraulics but you should figure out what you really got before messing with teeing into the hydraulic system. It could get expensive to repair. Once you figure this out then we can give you a better idea of what you need to do.

Better yet, I would ask this question in the NH Owning/Operating forum where someone might have a better answer.
