Pole Barn Style

Does anyone know the "official" style of this type of barn? When I talk to contractors I would like to convey to him the style so he knows what I'm talking about.

I've heard them called "Monitor" style barns. Barns with a raised center aisle.

Most Barn Companies call that the Raised Center Aisle barn. Check out MDBarns.com or BarnsandStables.com for examples.

MD Barns

We have been dealing with them on a barn/shop/covered arena complex. Will probably buy from them if the bank will loan us enough $ and we can make the payments. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

They're called Moniters around here. Very popular with the horse people as the two lower sides hold the stalls, etc., while the taller center is the riding arena.
