All the materials are here. Just waiting for the Morton Builders to get caught up so they can start here. Probably late next week. 20180627_090019.jpeg20180627_090002.jpeg20180627_085838.jpeg20180627_085549.jpeg20180627_085721.jpeg

Have you found the packing slip yet? What does it weigh?

My Morton delivery weight was 48,579 pounds. I thought it was interesting because I spent a few years as a receiving clerk and a shipping auditor.

I wasn't home when they delivered it. The Morton rep was here and handled everything. It all came on 1 truck. The rep is coming today, I will ask him the weight.

Its a 30x50 x16 high. 1 14x12 door ( for the rv ) and 1 12x10. Plus two 36" service doors. No windows, I can add later myself if I want.

Interesting photo of perma column style post bases. Look like they are adjustable for setting height. I had name brand perma columns installed on my barn and they were not made like yours. I like the concept...post some photos of install technique!

Morton took the Perma Column concept and tweaked it to where they can use that threaded rod and set all the heights the same before attaching the posts. Once they are set then they pour concrete in the 16" hole They have pretty much made this a standard feature now instead of burying the post in the ground. Will be interesting to see when they set them.

Take as many pics as you can, it's fun to look at them later.
Here was my delivery 3 years ago last month of 40' X 60' X 14'.
Third pic was roof insulation.

You will absolutely LOVE your Morton building!
Morton is a class act in every way, their crews are fantastic, and their customer support is excellent.
My 36' x 48' Morton is now 34 years old, and still looks great.
