The cats are hunkered down in front of a Beucamp quartz heater. No interest in going outside or helping me get wood.

You can plug equipment in and get it going, but not heat the hydraulics and transmissions, so I am just doing nothing. Not even getting mail, bacause the mailbox has to be dug out. The cold can't be good for seals.

And the low Thursday night into Friday looks to be 20 degrees warmer than tomorrow's high.

Sub zero temps are the norm here so nothing extra to do.

G Dad always said, "first lie'r doesn't stand a chance" so here goes.
Getting colder here then in some time, but I've been at the south and north poles, and spit off the bow of the ice breaker in the summer time, and it froze before it hit the ice below.

Just went outside....it's getting colder and the wind is really picking up. The snow is drying out and starting to drift. Most schools are shut down Tue-Thur.

I don't remember this ever happening..... The USPS in Iowa will NOT deliver mail Wednesday because of the cold temps.

Mine is in the garage and ready to do nothing. I find it funny the news and everyone on social media is blowing this out of proportion. It seems ridiculous.

Still calling for a high of -14 tomorrow with a low of -24. I'll be hunkered in my house with two cats and the wood burner going.

Yeah I would be the same way but we have horses.....
