It was VERY slow going. I use a 42 blower on front of garden tractor. My snowblower has a 8” flat top above the auger. With the snow higher than the top of blower, I’d have to drive into snow and undercut about 8”, then stop before the undercut overhang fell off the back of of the blower. Then I’d reverse, hoping that the undercut now collapses in front of the blower.
Repeat 10,000 times. Only one broken shear bolt.
Luckily, my son was home and once we got the first path, he’d take a snow shovel and knock the top of the next path down to something manageable.
Spent 6-7 hours on day day storm. (2 outings). And another hour yesterday making more paths to sheds. Spent 2 hours shoveling yesterday at my moms.
I have another hour or so today shoveling around shed doors, and unburying my truck. You literally can’t see it.
