100_8081.jpgDo you think this disc plow would work on a CK2510 with a loader.I want to sell this 8N & use the money toward a Kioti CK2510.I don't know what the plow weighs. The CK2510 is rated at 1200lbs lift. Thanks!

Which plow or maybe disc harrow are you referring to?

Weighing it would be best. Or what is the Ford rated to lift? Also try posting this on the Ford forum and/or attachments forum. People there might have an idea of what something like this weighs.:2cents:

Ford 8N rated to lift 800lbs. The Kioti with loader weighs 2800lbs the ford 2400lbs.I think it will work just wanted others onions.

I'd think it'd be fine. The ck has quite a bit more lift capacity, as you point out. Even if you go to r4s, the 4wd should compensate and I bet you'd end up with about the same amount of pull. If you go with r1s, you'll have more pull than the 8n, I'd think.

I am going with R4's. Now if I can find the 8N a new home, its off to the dealer!

I'd like the 8N, but I'm not ready yet. Where are you and how much? My BIL is Ford crazy. I think he has 2, 1 nicely restored.

I have neighbors who keep several tractors, each configured a different attachment, so they don't have to change attachments (at least not often).

I have a CK20S which is the CK2510's cousin. I can tell you for sure the CK2510 with loader, will pull about as hard as an 8N. I had both. The only problem you will have is the 3 point hitch. The lift arms on an 8N stick out much further. You would run into problems with a bottom plow with the cutter arm. The CK2510 also does not have as much clearance to lift on the 3 point hitch. I think the better overall match for the 8N is a CK27 or even a CK30. I wish I had bought my CK20S with R1s. The R4s do not have as much pull in the field; however, they do better on hard dirt and pavement.

A set of Pat's couplers will extend the 3 pt about 4 inches, they help with my finishing mower to keep the front mower tires from hitting the tractor tires.
