Greetings,

We have just launched CountryByNet.com, a website/discussion for everything related to country living.

CountryByNet.com has forum topics for homesteading, cooking, crafts, finance, schooling, land care, crops, small and large animals, country projects, remodeling, outdoor projects, landscape, gardening, barns, outbuildings, home building, and more. Plus, we'll be adding new topics as you suggest them!

I invite you to join us on CountryByNet.com...

As always, I thank you for your many years of support, and look forward to seeing you at CountryByNet.com! /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

Muhammad,
Will you be attending to both websites? I hope this is not a departure from TBN.

Yes I'll be at both sites. No, not a departure.../w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

And to Scott... no hats yet, maybe in a few months. Not sure about the book, but in time we'll be selling something I'm sure. /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

my sentiments exactly .... I'm TRYING to find some time to get outside and now another must-have site!

ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHH

ditto others --- ARRRGGHHHHHHH --- well - I ain't gonna sign up for that one! I spend too much time here already -- my wife says so --- so-o-o .... I'll get her to sign up!/w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif The forum titles look like something she'd really get into too. After all marriage is a 40 - 40 proposition so she can handle this new site out of her 40% ---- explaination --- we're too busy for a 50 -50 marriage so we split everything 40 -40 and the other 20 just ain't important enuff to worry about.

I really don't understand why we would need both the Rural Living thread here and the new CountryByNet.com. Won't it just create a lot of duplicate threads? I'm all for the idea of the new site, but my vote goes to eliminating this one, just leave the archives available via a search on the new site. The only other country life site I've been able to find is , which is part of Yesterday's Tractors. The Yesterday's Tractors site is very active and useful, but the Country Talk is not very active. The forums software is awful though, it's very cumbersome to read through a thread.

Oh, my!!

Let's see -- currently my day breaks down to:
sleep
eat
work
tractorin'
surfing the 'net.

I'm not in a position to quit working yet, and there's no way I'm going to quit eating. Hmmm. How long can I go without sleep? /w3tcompact/icons/grin.gif

Muhammad, congratulations on the new site and forum. It is very attractive. Your empire is growing.

I just signed up and posted there myself. Yes, I did duplicate the post over here, but I can see that becoming my primary Country Life resource once the level of participation hits "critical mass". :)
