Instead of a remote for the grapple I would go with a 3rd function.
Like someone said, a quick hicth would be better than the telescopic stabilzers. I think the draw bar clevis is just a clevis that fits the drawbar. Your dealer probably has a non kubota clevis for $20.

Spec it with the LA524 loader instead of the LA524FL. The LA524FL comes with a 60" pin on bucket and the LA524 will need the SSQA frame and 66"SSQA bucket added to it. But it does add extra cost, which in my opinion, is well worth if. Especially if you plan on switching between two or three different types of buckets. Both have the same lift capacity. Keep in mind that if you are thinking of getting some type of forks, the SSQA style will provide more lift than what the clamp on style, which puts the load in front of the bucket. Also, in looking at the Kubota price book, I was not able to find a third function available.

You can get a aftermarket 3rd function through someone like everything attachments.

Hey guys. Thanks for the input so far. A BH is out of my price range at this point so I'll just have to hire out any work that needs a BH. Tooth bars and chain hooks are good ideas and not too expensive to add. I like the idea of a box blade for counter weight too. The 66" Bucket is the heavy-duty one - 66" Quick Attach Buckets - 66" QUICK ATTACH SQUARE BACK BUCKET (HEAVY DUTY LOADER PACKAGE)

This is how things break down currently:
Total Configured Price
$24,362.00

1 FRONT - 7.2 x 16.0 /REAR - 11.2 x 24.0inc.
1 (1) STD VALVE & 1ST POSITION KIT W/LEVER ASSEMBLY$501.00
1 SECOND POSITION VALVE KIT$50.00
1 3RD POSITION VALVE MOUNTING KIT$50.00
1 DETENT VALVE (NON-SELF-CANCELING)$273.00
1 FLOAT DETENT VALVE$319.00
1 HYDRAULIC HOSE KIT FOR TRACTORS WITH LOADERS$235.00
1 STD FRONT LOADER PACKAGE$4,100.00
1 66" QUICK ATTACH SQUARE BACK BUCKET (HEAVY DUTY LOADER PACKAGE)$610.00
1 TELESCOPIC STABILIZER KIT$175.00
1 DRAWBAR CLEVIS$67.00

There is not an option to add a 3rd function to the FEL online on the typical Ls but the Grand L does have an option in "build my kubota" for $899 so I assume it would be about the same on the regular Ls?
1 3RD FUNCTION VALVE KIT FOR ROPS MODELS$899.00
As N.Y. Bird man said The heavy duty bucket is the Round Back, not the square back, quite a different bucket.

I have an Grand L3130 with the LA723 loader with the quick attach. I have never seen a place where I need the heavy duty bucket, with the horsepower of the tractor and the lift of the loader being limited as such it is hard to tear things up, a L3800 with a 500 series loader and it being more limited you may just go with the square back for more capacity, now if it was the 800 series loader I would go for the heavy duty bucket.

Also I would get all the ballast possible, I have the backhoe with loaded tires and will still dig ruts with the tires pulling trees and logs up the hill, and doing the work in the woods I would not go with R4s if I did around here I would always be stuck spinning the tires.

Not sure how big of trees you deal with where you are at but out here they get quite large as you can see in the picture with the grapple and you may look at the Grand L series as the do offer a lot heavier componets from the standard Ls

At the risk of being yelled at, look at a Kioti DK40, almost everything you're looking at plus a bunch of other very nice features are standard equipment.

Wow, lots more good info here, thank you everyone. The rub here is that I am not going to be able to spec out exactly what I need online and will need to see if the dealer can put together a package that works for for me at the right price.

I looked at the Kioti website a while back and like their stuff but I couldn't find a way to get MSRP pricing online and the nearest dealership to me is about 45 minutes further than my nearest Kubota dealer. If I could price out a model online to see where I was out, maybe I would be more inclined to make the drive out there.

You need to go test drive some dealers, forget the web page differences.
