Please help! Kioti CK20 won't start

Hey everybody! I was hoping for some help with my Kioti. I turned it on about an hour ago, drove it 20 feet and then shut it off to fill it with gas. When going to restart it after filling with gas I accidentally pressed the gear to move the tractor forward while starting it up and pressing the clutch, it died, and now it won't turn over. I am turning the key and hitting clutch but it's not doing anything.

I tried jumping it with my jeep and again with a portable jumper and it won't even turn over or anything, and the lights won't turn on, nothing.

I have my 15 year high school reunion coming up and need to get work done immediately on my property and could use the advice.

Any advice?

Check and make sure the battery cables are clean and tight. Also is there any play in the switch when you turn the key on, if so move it around within the play limits and see if the connection is made.

I did check battery cables, everything seems OK including ground. When I checked fuses, I looked for broken metal in the fuses and there was none. Is that the right way of checking?

Saw another thread on this issue, try turning on the 4 way flashers, do they come on? Also take your jumper cables and run the black from the battery to a good ground location on the frame, do you get lights after that? Take the red cable of the jumper cables and run it to the larger connector on the starter and the other end on the positive terminal on the battery, do you get lights? Checking fuses is best done with a VOM (check the resistance of the fuse), I have not looked at my fuses yet on my tractor so I do not know what style they are.

Sorry, meant to say diesel! Of course I only used diesel.

Flashers are not coming on, nor is any lights on the panel. Tried removing the battery and jumping direct to the terminals and it didn't work.

Tried jumping with black cable on the frame and no lights/dash.

Tried replacing all fuses, not working.

I have not run the red cable to the starter yet because I don't know where the starter is or what it looks like?

My neighbor came to look and he said he thinks it is a relay or something?

I found the starter, and I hooked the red wire from my jeep battery directly to the starter, and it still didn't give any power or turn over.

There is a 60 amp fuse on the right side of the tractor (when looking from the front) under the hood. I do not know the exact location, I have never tried to locate mine.

I will look for the 60 amp fuse.. will it be attached to a wire or something as shown in the diagram? I really hope it's just a fuse!! All the fuses in the panel were ok.

I FOUND IT!! It appears to be bad!! What do I do to replace it, where do I go to buy a new fuse? I have never seen one like this before?

The part number I found is 52794-4242-1 a quick google search showed a kioti parts place on line and then a link to ezgo golf carts, so this may be a fuse you can get at a auto parts store or mower repair shop, again never looked at mine don't know anymore about it

At least you know what the problem is now.

I REALLY hope that this is the problem. Autozone does have it in stock I think and I am hoping it's the source of the problem. Won't know until the morening but I will keep you all posted. Thanks so much for the help! I cannot believe that my owners manuals don't mention anything about this fuse!

Recommend you get a replacement plus a spare. That fuse may have blown for a reason, in which case you need to find the cause.

The previous owner of my Kioti called out dealer -- tractor would not start and could not find the problem. The PTO switch was turned on (kids had been playing in the barn) -- flip the PTO switch off, tractor started up fine...:ashamed:
