PLEASE HELP 1997 NH 2120

My 1997 New Holland 2120 was in shop May to last weekend and while mowing I forgot I cut a tree down last Fall, and with grasses so high I hit and rolled over the stump. I was hung up on it a bit on the front end but got off and everything looked OK so I continued cutting. I then noticed my Tach was not working. Any help is greatly appreciated guy's. Thanks

I checked your 2120 on NH website and under Tachometer below is what I came up with.

It appears you do not have an electronic Tachometer. What you have is a mechanical one. Most likely you snagged the drive cable while you were in a pickle. Look behind the panel to see if you can find the cable going out from the Tach unit in the dash, follow the line where it is connected around the front , usually back behind the timing gear cover. You might have the plastic gear messed up too. Just need to see what is damaged and replace or might just be lucky and it just came apart without damage.
