That is a positive. My wife brags to her friends that I am outside doing stuff most of my spare time. Some of her friends husbands are couch potatoes.

Ya know... this is a good selling point and I can use this. I already told her I would use the shop far more if I wasn't crammed into the two car garage... and plus she would be able to park her car in the garage!

Bingo... the appeal of a dedicated spouse garage parking space has sealed more deals...
The home I bought had a two car garage steps from the kitchen... the retired commander often commandeered the garage for his projects...
One day he mentioned to his wife he was thinking the far side of the property might be suitable for a shop... she said how soon can you start???
He was a little dismayed but said he would invite a contractor friend over to take a look... 6 months later he was in his two floor 22x30 footprint shop... the garage was now hers!!! it held two cars a pantry cabinet and container for recycling newsprint... that was it... not so much as hammer or garden sprayer...
