After a delay in getting my piranha bar and mother nature making a swamp of my work area I was finally able to start getting some outside work done.
The property behind me is a mess bordering where I want to run new fence. I have some trees to drop and dig out stumps. It has piles of hard head rocks from prior farm land use and lots of dumping mixed in scrub brush with some trophy sized poison ivy.

The piranha bar makes QUICK work of all of it. I put a couple sold hours in the seat of my Kubota BX23S and really started to put a dent in the clearing. If you raise the bucket a few inches and push the brush forward and raise or tip the bucket you can pull most things out by its roots. Small saplings just shine up the bar and I tackled a couple small trees that came right out.

I have another 100 yards to go........

Kudos to Bx for making a VERY useful attachment.

Little tractor / lots of guts~

Now I can get at the trees to come down / ground level and need it to dry out to grade it ~

It really does and saved me a LOT of work and adds versatility to the loader.
Granted its not a grapple and its just another tool in the tool box but for the cost, simplicity and function its hard to beat, IMHO.

Now I need a front mounted flame thrower for lighting the pile on fire................

The PTB will also help when ripping our thorny vines that are choking trees.
Once it grabs the vines it'll rip out the higher ones, they are pretty tough but the FEL with PTB will get it done.
Great tool. Nice job of ripping out the gar-bahg vegetation..!

It makes a nice backdrag rake too . The only issues i have with brush is that the springy stuff just bends over even with the blades edge being so sharp.

Love the Piranha. I refuse to take it off of my bucket!

Took down a widow maker yesterday with the help of the tooth bar. It allowed me to "grab" the end that was on the ground, lift and pull it out of the remaining part of the tree. No climbing, chain saw damage or injury needed.

An hour later I was using it to move rocks and grade up the customers road. All around awesome tool!

I did put a small ding in my hood...........grrrrr.
I was pushing some brush and kicked lose a hanging dead branch that missed my head, skipped off the roll bar and hit the hood.

Ready for battle and round #2 with a full tank of fuel.

A piranha bar and a thumb and you can do most of what grapple can do. I love my bar, was impressed when it pulled 5 to 6" dia pines right out of the ground. Soon as I get my camera mounted so I can see bucket edge going to try and pull small trees next to buildings
