GAPROPERTY,

How does that HLA1000 feel on the 3000 series Kubota? 20" height and 400 lbs I was wondering if it felt like you can easily bend it.

Does the HLA have Vertical Float? Using a snowplow on a loader is tough as it is hard to find the correct angle every time you drop the blade to the ground. Lots of vertical float is important to help keep the stones on the driveway.

The plow feels light and trips to easy. It was the only one at the dealership. About 4 hours there was a used 2000 for sale. I might be wishing I went and got it but it also required a third function.

As for finding the right angle I have a metal indicator that shows when the plow is level. I go slow and carefully watch when the plow starts to expose the rock the tilt it back a bit. When the ground was frozen with hard pack snow the float on my loader worked very well.

I just hooked up the pto pump and rear hydraulic tanks las5 weekend. Ran hoses up front. I have not hooked up chains yet,as ground is still too soft. but snow had started. There predicting 12 inches thru tomorrow. So far only 2. Looks like winter had finally come.

Nice setup.
Now that's what I call enjoying plowing snow...thanks for sharing. :)

I find it a type of art to do a nice job. Very relaxing except for dealing with some customers.

Kioti: you have Front AUX hydraulics or are you using a Pump off the rear PTO?
If you have Front Aux hydraulic connectors, How many GPM does it pump for the Blower to run well?

Thanks for the honest feedback. Oh yes, most AG tractors have that Bar that indicates 'level'. I don't have that on my Backhoe. In all honesty, you are probably better off with the 'light' blade. I have a 1000lb plow and I can almost never let the feet rest on the ground or it will dig the stones. I made much larger feet and it's still a problem. The weight of the plow forces me to constantly lift and lower the Loader arms as my driveway has enough ups and downs to keep me busy. I am jealous of my neighbor who runs a small pickup truck with a 'toy" plow. most of the season he zips around with that light plow just floating on top and leaving the stones in place.
I love the big plow when we get the 40+ inch snowfalls. Then I go and help out small pickup guy. My plow is 33" tall.
Thanks again for sharing

I do not have a pump off the rear PTO. Blower runs off Mid PTO at 12.8 GPM. The blower throws snow over 50 feet if that means anything and engine revving at 2400 rpm if I am not mistaken. So my 30 hp tractor handles it pretty darn good.
Here is an old pics of it in action before I had my heated cab installed also never had to use chains.

Can't afford a snowblower this year; so I'll be getting plenty of loader experience. But at least I finally got the Tractor

"You don't need a tractor", said the wife; until I made her help me shovel the snowpack that falls off the garage.
