Does anyone have pictures they can post of the dash, floorboard and power lift handles on a Mahindra? Preferable 5500 and larger. The nearest dealer is over an hour away and I want to see the layout before I drive that far to look at one.

Also, heard yesterday that Mahindra is now the #2 tractor dealer behind John Deere. Heard they took over Kubota.

i heard the same thing from a few folks - the resale values on mahindra will start to rise as dealer/user numbers rise.

kubota was in a similar spot when they started over here.

i am confident that mahindra will be around here for a long long time.

I assume that's worldwide when you speak of #2? That sounds nice and I hope it is true.

Yes, worldwide.

My dad just purchased a new Kubota. While it's a nice tractor, it has too much plastic on it for me. For some reason they made half of their fenders metal and half plastic.

Does anyone have a link to the story stating this? I'd like to have it just for rubbing it in kinda proof hehe. There's some naysayers that I know and this would be great. Also, on Mahindra and Mahindra's website, a press release from June 4th states they are the fourth largest.

Kubota was not the #2. I beleive the global sales goes like this for ag companies:

#1 Deere
#2 Case / New Holland
#3 Agco
#4 Mahindra


Kubota sells the most compacts in the U.S. I believe Massey Ferguusen (part of AGCO) makes the #1 selling tractor brand if you are just looking at tractor sales.

I sure wouldn't be surprised if Mahindra is #1 in another 5-10 years they. They make good stuff at very affordable prices.
