Pickles

I was out in my garden tonight and started thinking about pickles. I like pickles, just not many "home made"pickles, too vinegary for me. Does anyone have a recipe for dill pickles that doesn't taste like I'm taking a swig from from a vinegar bottle and that keeps well?

I have an old family recipe for kosher dills (semi-sour) that keeps well if refridgerated if you are interested. Jay
