Picking up my new GC2300 tomorrow

well, after 4 weeks of wondering about a replacement for my stolen tractor, I will be picking up my GC2300 tomorrow. I initially was looking at the Kubota BX2350 but will be getting the MF. I've been on both of them..both seem fine to me. The MF has a little more PTO hp at lower rpm than the cub, weighs a little more and I believe the BX had a limited cat 1 hitch and I think the GC has a true cat 1 hitch, so all of my implements will fit!

It's been a long 2 weeks since the insurance came through....now I just have to suffer through the night /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Luckily, I have some mowing to do in my yard since I've been w/out a mower for a month /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Well, I picked it up on Friday. I got the new style grill guard. I put 3 hours on it this weekend...I know, not many but I did get to mow with it. I can say that I love the way this thing cuts. Cuts a lot better than the Bolens I had.

Well, I picked it up on Friday. I got the new style grill guard. I put 3 hours on it this weekend...I know, not many but I did get to mow with it. I can say that I love the way this thing cuts. Cuts a lot better than the Bolens I had.

If you get into touch with the guys that stold your tractor tell them I have an old 88 subrban that they can steal. I will give them money for gas and my mother in law and I don't want to see either again.

LOL....I wish I knew who stole it so I could get my trailer and box blade back!

I'm sure someone would take the Surburban and gas (gas is probably worth more than the Surburban), but adding the MIL in there would be a deal breaker for most /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Hi: Hope you enjoy your tractor as much as we do. One sharp looking unit. Just a little tip you may want to try on your mower. In wet grass you may find that grass doesn't spread as well as you like, you can take the three washers from behind deflector stoppers & place them on the other side of rubber bumper to lift discharge chute to allow grass to exit easier. Have fun with the new unit.

Thanks for the tip. I was looking at that yesterday and wondered what would happen if I moved the washers to raise the deflector shield!

so far it's been great....heck, I was driving it to the waters edge instead of my 4-wheeler while building my pier this weekend! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
