I can't believe this went on for six pages.![]()
I didn't read it all but to make boiled eggs easier to peel, run cold water over them to chill immediately after removing from heat. It shrinks the inner layer of egg white away for the shell. The shell and that outer "skin" peels right off.
I do this every time, and there are still times when the eggs won't peel easily.
