The economy hitch is not surface-finished to the same standard
as the grey coloured one that I bought and they supply the washers too.

Pat'S Quick Hitch Cat 1, Stabilizer Bar Included

Are Agrisupply still getting through the old stock style ?

Here is a photo of what AgiSupply sent me. Other than color, I see that the grey one has a rounded base as opposed to a cut-angle. So I guess there is a difference, but ....

i thought i'd drop in a post a note about the easy change system i purchased early in the spring...

i switched from finish mower to the dreaded bush hogger yesterday... that's the ONE toughest change i make. the bush hog is so heavy and i can never seem to back into the thing right, and end up doing a lot of pushing and tugging. it was so easy yesterday, that a caveman (me) did it! the only thing that would have made it easier would be if someone else hitched up for me. i got off the tractor twice, once to make sure the spacing was correct, and once to hook up the PTO shaft and upper arm. no pain no strain...

see y'all!

Bought my Pat's on line here and have been using it over a month now. Wow!, what a difference in hooking up.
I changed between a land leveler, a brush hog, and a weight box in 5 hours, (busy ya know) and it was easy as
all get out. Now, get more washers and I will be set....Once you have it leveled out on your arms, all you have to do
is move the arms out slightly to adjust for different widths of equipment, usually between 0 to 4 inches and then good
to go.

Thanks Pat.
Tom

I have a question about whether the Easy Change System will fit on my tractor. I have a Kubota L3800. I read in the TBN store that the straight portion of the lift arms need to be approximately 4 inches long for the Easy Change to fit properly. I just measured the straight portions of the lift arms on my tractor and found they measure approximately 3.5 inches long. Does anyone know whether they will fit my lift arms? Thanks very much.

They'll fit your hitch . Just took this photo . Notice the measurements and compare with your actual ; quite standard .

Hi OrangeRidge,

Thanks for the photo! I just measured from the front of the link hole to the start of the bend in my lift arms. I have the same dimension you have on your tractor, 2.5 inches. I also remeasured the straight portion of the lift arms and I have approximately 3.5 inches. I will place an order this week.

BTW - I intend to use them to hook up to my 5' bush hog. The PTO shaft looks like I will have plenty of adjustment. May need a longer top link. Will know when I install the hitches. Do you hook up to a bush hog, if so how do they work for you?

The extra length of the arms require a few inches of twisting added to the top link , and your propshaft will be too short ( mine was .... ) probably.

Thanks OrangeRidge. I just placed my order at TBN. Can't wait to try them out.

Make sure the hitches are spread to the correct separation BEFORE you adjust the alignment to "square" ( the 2 bolts assem on each side ) with the implement pin orientation , or it won't hook-up to the Hog neatly.
You'll easily see what I mean if it's out-of-wack when you first attach something.

OH OH. I already placed my order a couple of nights ago with TBN. I picked up a can of Kubota gray paint today, intending to paint them before I put them on. Thanks, Carl.

my lower pins/bracket on my box blade is bent from years of use and abuse.
Will that cause an issue if I was to purchase these?

Don't know, but if it does they should be easy enough to change out with new pins from TSC. I Just reread your message. If the bracket that the pins attach to is bent, then I would think the Easy Change brackets would not hook up.

Your pins should be pretty close to 90 degrees to the Pat's Hitch hook-up connector , or there maybe an engagement issue.
Why not bend the imple. pins assem. back to square ? Bit of heat and a hammer ;-)

Whoo Hoo! The UPS man just delivered Pat's Easy Change hitches today. I ordered them Monday night from TBN and received them Friday afternoon. What quick service! I will install them tomorrow morning when the temperature cools down a bit.

I installed the hitches on my Kubota L3800 Sunday. They fit perfectly! I made one change though. I changed out the 4 jam nuts, the lower of the 2 nuts, on the u-bolts for 3/8-16 ny-locks I got from Lowes. This way if a jam nut does come loose, it wont unscrew itself off.

Just oredered the system, with the equalizer bar, from this site. I have all my implements on dollys, but anything I can do to make it easier works for me. I might be a little lazy, but it "works for me".
