Parts cleaner solution

I use 1 gallon of Gunk Degreaser mixed with 5 gallons of Kero in my parts washer. Works great. Not non-flammable though.

I used varsol for years with my dad's shop and I haven't seen it around for a long time.What exactly is varsol?.
