Good Morning:

I have an 2 stage snow blower I am mounting to a lawn tractor.
There is a part missing form the "REAR IDLER BRACKET ASSEMBLY"
To be exact I am missing the "IDLER ENGAGEMENT BRACKET"
Please see attached pic, missing part is highlighted in yellow.
This part is not used when attached to a machine with electric pto, the previous owner did not need it for his machine and it got lost.

The snowblower is an MTD, model # 190-621 built in the 1990's

If you have this blower or have the part I would be in debt to you for supplying me with the dimensions................:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Thanks in advance

Looks like a relatively easy thing to make - flat steel maybe 1/8" thick? Would be nice if you could find one, but... I always keep little cr*p like that for someday, but I realize many don't.

No one has replied yet.......:smiley_aafz:
I have a template made form light steel, just need to do some fine adjustments prior to fabrication out of 10 guage steel.

I was frustrated so I printed the image that I had attached to my first post.
I enlarged the picture as large as would fit on 8.5 X 11 paper via MS Paint.
I made the assumption that the drawing was to scale.
I then measured the control rod in the picture against the actual rod.
I scaled it up and made a template out of a piece of 20 guage steel I had laying around.
Need to run the engine to check if the tension is right and that step is done.
Thanks for the encouragement:):)

Do you by chance have a real picture of Idler spring locations. I have owners manual but can't tell exactly where they attach
thanks. MTD Model 190-621
