Pallets in fields

Continued silliness or inanities are only posted because at least someone thinks they're funny...I'm not referring to puns etc. that actually have some humorous merit...I'm talking about just plain stupid comments...
...IMO it's no different than someone standing on a street corner and saying stupid stuff...they are going to get laughed at...it's not personal. I don't personally insult anyone especially by name etc...
Nobody forces anyone to read what they don't want to hear..when someone does not like what they hear it's usually for a reason...a lot of times it's because it contains the truth and some people just can't handle the truth...killing the messenger is never a viable solution...

If anyone thinks my comments are silly or stupid they have every right to say so within the TOS and user agreements...

I call things like I see them and have always been up front about it (see my sig)...

I apologize if I've hurt anyone's feelings...it's nothing personal but if I have please fill out the form below in triplicate and submit it to the proper authorities...

I don't like rock music or rap, so I don't listen to it.

I don't like broccoli or escargot, so I don't eat it.

I don't like Whoopi Goldberg, so I don't watch her.

I don't like smokey bars and strip clubs, so I don't go there.

The question in my mind, is if you find the thread inane, insulting and below your intellectual plateau, what possesses you to hang around, read the posts, and voice an acrid opinion no one wants to hear? Do you like the feedback? Do you get off being chastised...or are you doing research for your PhD?

LoL...No not writing a dissertation or developing a thesis etc...!

I guess a good analogy would be the same reason people slow down and gawk at car wrecks...or go out and look at the damages after tornadoes and other natural disasters etc... You know...the same reason some people (not me) watch the cardasheons, or listen to howard stern etc., etc...:laughing:

Not so...we...or at least I...embrace the message...it is a welcome interlude after listening to the Madcow, the recitation of new Executive Orders, watching videos of BLM insurrection and reruns of Biden's gaffs, including how Trump incited an erection. And for the record, I look forward to the Sunday edition of our local newspaper exclusively for the comics section.

OK, now I know where pallets go to party. This property is near me. The FENCE runs the perimeter of the property. Using Earth the perimeter is 1300 feet. Pallets are stacked 2 high with 2 posts per pallet stack. That is a total of 650 pallets and 1300 posts. Now when they went in a couple of yers ago, they were NEW pallets, not recycled. I wonder what that fence cost?

Perhaps they had a business or friend who's been trapping them and now has to keep his eye on them all.

The pallets seem to be on the ground but there has to be some moisture to support the plant life. Will rot be a problem in the Mojave?

Not really. Wood laying on the ground will eventually get some rot where it contacts the ground in a couple of years. I had some left over rebar from my house build laying on the ground for 4 or 5 years before it developed some surface rust.

Now weeds come up every spring no matter how dry the winter was. I guess a couple of millions of years of evolution taught them how.
