After researching this since 2013 locally farners use FEL's to spot needed supplies and when used they do the inverted V so they don't get ran over and can be found to be picked up later.

Has anyone used plastic pallets outside long-term under box blades, bush hogs, ect. They can not be sold to plastic recycling places a recycler told me this week because of the unknown plastic types.

Yes, we have several that have been outside for 5 or 6 years. No deterioration visible :thumbsup:.

Used them under round bales, but the bales held rain water on the flat surface and rotted at the contact area :thumbdown:.

So we put the flat side down and set the bales on the feet of the pallet, that worked better :thumbsup:.

Have some more inside for small square bale storage. They work great :thumbsup:.

I carefully removed the nails and burned it, in case it was carrying disease!

Well, you were the 'man on the spot' and made the best decision possible under the circumstances. Humanely done.

Other than dry-rot or rusty-nail, Australia is free of harmful pallet specific diseases. Is this the same for other countries?

Crickey, that simply reminds me of the 1970's craze of remodelling the 'rec room' with weathered wood from sheds/barns. If I recall, whole structures were stripped to skeletons (frames) to feed the obsession.

I can agree with two of the three points made. Looking great though? I'd rather have an old tire on my front lawn filled with dandelions.
