Pallets stacked like that are a naturally occurring phenomenon. The real questions is, "Who put fields under them and why???"

Seasonal pallets, yep they migrate south for the winter.

Just keep your eyes open for the humming bird migration and the pallets generally follow within one or two weeks.
That is between humming bird and loon migration dates.

Very good data point, murph! If the hummer and pallet migrations are indeed somehow linked, your insight would seem to indicate that some delay exists in their timing. Or perhaps that particular flock of pallets had gotten lost or delayed, or found a hospitable refuge that allowed them to extend their stay in their summer range?

Inquiring minds want to know...
