I have a kubota mx5100 and it says in the loader book the lift capacity at pivot pin is 2440 lbs so is forks rated at 2500 lbs max good our should i go bigger?
The forks are 48" long and the price is $500. Is this price good ? They fit a bobcat.

I see no reason 2500lb forks wouldn't be fine. The manufacturer would build a safety margin into them, above and beyond their rated capacity.

I paid about $700 for 4000 lb QA forks. If you are just lifting, then the 2500 lb should be fine. I have dug out rocks and old concrete with mine and I think I would have bent them if they were any lighter.

Stonehaller has a good point I don't know that I would be digging with them But!
I have looked at the ones that go on a bucket but they scare me .Isn't there a chance that could damage the bucket and that's two feet or so further out there. I have seen in the forums the QA forks that doubled as a hay spare I like that and I may do that sometime .
