painting galvanized siding

I have some steel siding that is peeling and needing repainted. I will power wash the loose stuff off and strip what is left. Anybody got any thoughts on what kind of primer to use? I have an airless and will use it for the top coat, would be nice to use for the primer too.

Oil based Kilz works fine for painting old galvanized. Newer stuff needs to be washed down with vinegar water first.

Your better paint dealer will also have some special primer for galvanized. But I've never had complaints using just Kilz. You can get it any of the box home improvement stores.
