Paint color match

Ok, I have a little touch up to do. Any suggestions on a good match for thr red? Thanks!

If for your tractor the color is probably listed and maybe a car paint dealer would have the info or a tractor dealer. The shop I use has different tractor brands of paints on their shelves.

I have painted lots of things and nothing beats the quality, durability, color match and satisfaction of using OEM factory paint from a dealer. They have a vested interest in seeing their equipment look good and usually offer OEM paint at a great price to encourage it's use. Nothing looks worse, and hurts resale value, more than a bad touchup with a "close enough" color. We've all seen it.

Thin amount or Rustoleum with a brush will hold it. I do it all the time.

I picked up a can of Krylon Dual in Cherry Red Gloss. I just wanted something close for now. It is REALLY close.

Keep in mind, no one sells the OEM factory paint for anything.

Any paint you buy from the dealer, is a licensed aftermarket product.

While it may be easiest for most to use people to these products, I have yet to see any of them offer anything, but low end quality products, when compared to what is available in automotive finishes.

Just a follow up - I grabbed a can on Krylon Dual Paint + Primer in Cherry Red. I figured it would be just in the ballpark until I could get something better. It is REALLY close. Actually matches the metal panels better that the red on the plastic instrument cowl. And, the Krylon works on plastic, too. (I won't repaint the cowl, tho)
