Our Miners

As most of you know I live in Western Maryland only about 3 miles from where two strip miners have been lost in a high wall collapses since Tuesday of this week. When our son David came back from Iraq he got a job at this strip mine but a few months ago went "across the road" to a mine job now owned by ICG. Better benifits, pay etc. The two men who lost their lives were our son's former co-workers. He, David, is so sad, as is our entire community. I would like to ask each of you, in your own way stop and remember these guys. The pics on the net don't do justice to the size of the equipment used here. A 295 shovel and Komatso 575 dozer are huge.
