Ouch, busted a front tire

Yep, I was filling in a neighbor's swimming pool with dirt and the two front tires fell off the inside edge of the cement pool and was resting on the frame. Used the bucket to lift the front and popped the clutch in reverse, when I did the turf tires hit the edge pretty hard. Anyways I am hoping I can put a boot inside and put in a tube. If not, I am lookin at prolly couple hundred for another tire.

Well - I would check to see if you can reseat the bead by airing it back up with a good air compressor.

wish a reseat was all there was to it. It has a hole in the side about the size of a toothpick. I was putting air in and while doing so, I felt a whisp of air blowing on my arm. It might be repairable with a tube if I didn't create too big a "hernia" when I banged it. I noticed the side looked like it was creating an airpocket.

Update: Got my wheels back this morning. The tire shop put new tubes in. Said the tire with hole in sidewall with tube is good for hundreds of more hours. They did me right too. Two 24X13.00-12 tubes $15 ea and $8.00 to put em in. With tax $50. I feel fortunate.
