On your first picture is that an abandoned mine?
Yes jjeff, all the pics except the one with my RTV are the same location. One of the old iron ore mines in Wawa, Ontario that started in the late 1800's. There is still stockpiles of iron ore there.

I could probably spend days doing amateur industrial archeology on sites like that.

We find lots of awesome stuff. Old castings and equipment. And it is really cool to see how those buildings were put together back then with nothing but hand tools. I can't even imagine the work that old generation did.
And all of these sites have tons of core samples left behind.

Well since my friends don't wanna ride slow, I just ordered something that will keep up with their UTV's, LOL
