I see you sell the Dirt Dog also. How do they rank against KK or some of the other brands?
Thanks

To me, the "Dirt Dog" looks identical to the Bush Hog box blades but with a different sticker. Go to the bush hog website and compare, just as i did.
I had a Bush Hog box blade some years back. It was either a SBX 60 or a SBX 65. I cant remember. I bought it from a local dealer. It was very well built and heavy duty but i hated it! The only thing i dis-liked about it is the teeth (scarifiers) didn't go near as low as i would liked, so i sold it. Another person here on TBN complained about the same thing too with their Bush Hog SBX box blade. I posted about it on here, but it was years ago.
Other than the scarifier problem, the box was really well made. And since i've owned both, i can say that there is no comparison between the Bush Hog box blade and King Kutter box blade. The Bush Hog was much heavier and better built.

Thanks, that't the kind of information I'm looking for since I can't test drive one. Please update this thread or start a new one when you get your EA blade. I'm looking one heavy duty enough to pull behind a Kioti DK45 and tear up new ground from time to time without bending it all to piecies if I hit a root. Other wise it will be used for typical driveway work.
Amazing how hard to find a used 6 footer around here. Thanks

I know what u mean! Couldnt find a used 5.5' or 6' around here either. I found a couple "cheap made" ones but they were 4' and 5'.

I use their 78" Xtreme HD unit (680#) behind a DK50. Works really well.

BTW...I'm starting to get all their naming confused...what is going on on their website? Looks like they keep changing the names of their lines....

I agree. A little hard to follow but I think your unit is the bigger Xtreme HD than the one we are discussing. This one is Xtreme but no HD and only 475 lbs and $840. Yours sounds like the one for $1140 at 680 lbs. That's why I look at side plate thickness and weight as two primary factors even though I'm being told theres more to it than those specs.

rjwerth, I agree that the names that differentiate our ETA box blades is confusing so I added that the heaviest ones are for tractors with 50-100hp. There is a page for the Cat 1 and another page for the Cat 2. Eventually, we will have a separate page for each one of those blades with pics. We are finishing up some exciting new attachments and getting ready for the Ag Expo in Moultre, GA next month so sometimes the final presentation on our website gets neglected.

As always, the feedback from you guys is appreciated before and after the sale!!

Ted,

What box blade would you recommend for a Kubota M6040? I'm thinking I want 7' width, as heavy as possible.

I could be wrong, but from what I understand, Dirt Dog Manufacturers Bush Hog box blades. I have the Bush Hog MBX720 and can attest to its toughness. I've used mine commercially for many years. The scarifiers are a bit suspect, but the structure itself is sound. I have to say though that I really like the looks of Everything Attachment's Xtreme HD b. Now, if Ted made a heavier duty landplane grading blade...we'd be talking!

Ok i got the box a couple hours ago! I was on the interstate and the truck driver called and said he'd be dropping it off in about 10 minutes. Well i was stuck in traffic on the interstate so i cut across the median in my Ford 4x4! I was about 5 minutes from the truck driver so i went and met him when he dropped it off.

I didn't get to look at it much because i was in a hurry. From what i seen though I LOVED the design of it. I'll be going back with my tractor to pick it up shortly.

Good luck with it, we know you will be wearing a big ole grin the first time you fill up the box with a load of dirt!!! I really like the reinforced lip at the bottom of the leading edge of the side panels. That's always the first place where a BB starts to wear at. That extra thickness should help a lot.

Haven't got to use the grader box yet. Just un-hooked it from the tractor. Bush hogging food plots and stuff on the hunting lease this morning.

I absolutely love how the box is designed and how perfect the fit and finish is. It looks to be flawless. Even the welds are excellent. After looking at the video of it over and over, there still really isn't no comparison until you see it in person. That's when u can really appreciate how it's built. No comparison to the current King Kutter i own. Whole nother class of box blades. I had a Bush Hog 6' SBX720 (not a 60 or 65 like i thought) box blade years ago and although it's not as heavy in weight as the BH was, it is definately better built. This is for sure a lifetime box blade no question about it.
I haven't got to use it yet but i have no problem recommending this box to anybody. If i ever needed another box, the Everything Attachments is the choice i'll go with.

If i have any complaints, there is only 1... The brace that runs from the 3pt. hitch hook up to the back of the box is all scratched up in a few spots and you can see bare metal. The ETA sticker is peeled and messed up too. No big deal because it's not gonna sit in a showroom. But, still it is something new...

I have pics i will post when i get time.

Looks, pretty nice. Congratulations. I hate to see its skint up alrady even if it is a piece of equipment. I'm leaning toward this model if Ted will tell me something about what to expect if I hit a root pulling it with a 45 HP tractor. What size is that Ferguson?

Hopefully, maybe Ted will send me some "Everything Attachments Yellow" and a new ETA sticker to put on my new box blade. But if not, it's really no big deal.

My tractor is a 1998 Massey Ferguson 231. The 231 was in production for 10 years, from 1989-1999. It was made in Poland by a company called "URSUS". It has a 3 cylinder Perkins diesel with 38 engine hp, and 34 pto hp. It's 2 wheel drive and weighs 4,065 lbs. I love this tractor with a passion.

I know this is old but I was going through my old posts and wanted to 'update' this thread since I've had the box blade right at a year and a half now.
I have owned it long enough to know that I made the right choice by purchasing it from Everything Attachments. I have zero regrets and would recommend this company and product to anybody. Also, this grader box is perfect for the Massey Ferguson 231 tractor. I wouldn't go any smaller or any bigger than the 6' model if purchasing from ETA.

When the grader box arrived, I posted that the "Everything Attachments" sticker was all scratched up. It wasn't a big deal at all but what I forgot to post back is that it wasn't just a few days later I had a brand new decal in the mailbox. That meant a lot. (Thanks!)

This was my 1st purchase from ETA, and although I'm not in the market for any attachments at the moment, this will not be my last purchase from them.
