Follow up: Some had asked for me to report on how I liked the plugger/aerator. I like it very much. It took me just over an hour to do my one acre property. First time and it was a learning experience. Some things I learned, first I'm glad I got the 36" wide unit as it allows me to make shallow turns. Don't try and turn to sharply or the unit will tear up your yard. Yes, the 650 lbs weight is needed. It travels well behind the tractor. The unit is exceptionally well built and the easily replaceable spoons are strong. It is well worth the money. As an aside while the BX 25 may have been strong enough to use it , I'm glad I upgraded to the B series. Yes, you do need either weights up front or your front loader on for counter balance.... and be careful of fences, I slowly ran into my chain link one time with the front loader, it sticks out there( missed all the poles, thank goodness) but as I said it was a learning experience and I learned a lot. Definitely a worthwhile investment having property with a clay base.
