This is pretty cool. Are you familiar w/ "TED" , well this guy is a TED fellow as you will see. HERE is the link to his main page. The following video kinda sums it up. I bet ya a few of you guys can really run with some of this stuff... In a nutshell this guy has made available all his designs (others are joining and submitting info free as well, this is a growing movement) for machinery he/they feel is necessary for a civilization to thrive, mechanized. kinda like if you were dropped on another planet, you have materials but no money to buy store bought tractors and implements etc, you need to make it yourself, well, here are free plans to make a lot of stuff...

Interesting site for sure. I find it a little clunky to get around though...
