Open letter to MadReferee

so ive done my share of searching round hear, and i would have thought i would have come up with all kinds of "what cylinders have you used on your project" kind of thing were people talked specifics of the xyz9000 vs the xyz9002 or whatever but alais....

Unfortuntly i get the impression most just scrounge something off of some older scrap impliment/tractor or toss a dart at the hydrolics catalog and hope they come up lucky (and if not... they "make it work")

so ya add me to the list of people that would greatly apreciate some good specfic info on the hydrolics people have used and why they chose them, how did they go about it (size, stroke, diameter etc)

as an engineer im more "plan it out before hand" types

Sorry to reply to this post so late, but I've been away on vacation. In addition to being helpful with hydraulics, he's pretty handy with a welder too. He has built me a few things and they are always well thought out and strongly made. Heck of a nice guy, too.
