On a personal note...

After a week of sleepless nights and high anxiety I was able to let go a big sigh of relief this afternoon.

My daughter got a clean bill of health from a specialist today after having received a preliminary diagnosis last week of a very rare and very rapidly growing form of melanoma.

Words cannot describe the feeling I'm experiencing right now.

That's great news, Gary. There are so many horrible forms of cancer and it seems melanoma is getting more commonplace. I hope you, your daughter and the rest of your family get a good night's sleep tonight. Take care.

Thats great Gary.............sooooo glad to hear good news.
I went for my physical today and the Doc was so interested in every mole, blemish etc on my body. I asked what he was looking at and he replied "Well, with your history......." I said what history?? He mis-interpreted what his nurse wrote. He thought I had a lesion removed from my ear at some time earlier.
NO.............it was a cyst on the INSIDE of my ear Dummy.../w3tcompact/icons/grin.gif

Anyway.......glad to hear the good news about your daughter.

That is terrific news. I went through a similar thing a few years ago and those type of things can cause some very anxious moments ..... but you already know that.

It is even worse when it is your young'ens!

GREAT news Gary! I can't even begin to imagine what you and your family have gone through this past week. My daughter has some on-going health problems that she will deal with the rest of her life, but nothing that is anywhere near as serious as what you were looking at. My wife and I are always worried, but what parent isn't?

God bless you, your daughter, and your entire family. You have a lot to be thankful for tonight!

But I'll bet the hole against the donut that you're a better man for the experience. And that you've bonded a little deeper with daughter. That is a good thing.
