Hi, The only bad thing about the 1550 is it's a gas hungry motor. Hydralpower?

I never use the Hydrapower Drive. If I use the regular transmission, it's still pretty economical. Although gas usage goes up with heavy loader work.

Old thread, but a great tractor. Wondering if you still have it, and what your experience has been with it over the years.

Oh man what memories. My favorite tractor growing up. Great size and power for its size, easy to handle and steer. I hauled countless loads of hay and silage with our 1550 diesel. Now I have a 770 diesel and 550 gas. Nice tractors but I would love to have a 1550 again. Here's a pic of my 770

We had a Reese hitch adaptor made to bolt to the bottom of the transmission housing. Love that!
