Tractor
Craftsman LT
I worked as a mechanical engineer in tractor design and manufacturing for 42 years. However, those were big tractors. I'm looking to upgrade my lawn tractor to something with a more substantial transmission. My 20 year old Craftsman served me well (with a number of weld repairs to the front axle and frame). The hydro is about shot. So I will be posting some questions on the forum to find something with a k62 or heavier trans. Oh, one thing, I worked for IH and Case IH. Can't buy anything with yellow wheels.

G'day Mate and welcome to TBN from Downunder.

Enjoy the site... no yellow wheels, eh? I guess an industrial tractor is out of the running then. ;)

Thank you for the welcome. I visited a number of farms in Australia during my working years. One fellow had 130,000 acres and was using 80-90 foot implements with our 530 HP Steiger tractors. He wanted 600 HP!

I can tell you that when you go to a dealer and ask to visit customers, the dealer does not pick the happy ones. They love to share the pain.
