Hi I have a problem with my 1970(ish) Hamjern 766 backhoe & would like any ideas or input before we start to strip it down.
The Hamjern is an old but strong Norwegian backhoe built on the IH 634 skidded unit as per the attached sheet, the problem is that the machine has lost drive to the right back wheel which is now wobbling around... The bearing would appear to be toast but what else does anyone think has let go? The wheel will drive sort of if the difflock pedal is pushed but is very wobbly. The machine is parked right now until I have an idea of the problem.. HELP
