Old Hoe Needs new life

[Backyard Hoe]

Hi all
Have an old JCB 1400B and looking to upgrade the slow hydraulics on the machine. Seems I need plenty throttle to get any sort of efficiency from the machine. The main pump is getting noisey so I'm thinking that might be the first place to start looking, and secondly check the hydraulic system pressure at suggested test points.
I have already re-worked injectors and fuel pump. Engine is running fine.
Can anybody suggest or heard of a replacement steel design for the glass doors which so often break?
Also does anyone have any idea of the hoe lifting capacity? I need to lift blocks weighing around 3300lbs ea.

Hydraulic pumps lose efficiency with wear. Replacement is probably in order. Rebuild without a test stand to run it in on is risky.
