I went out and looked at my white and silver bottles (80oz) of power service and neither one had it either. As far as the leaking, I bet they are talking about the foil under the cap. Once you tear that, it may leak if you store the bottle on its side.
This screen shot is from Power Service website

But you were correct, it isn't on the bottle.

I bought a case of the white and the silver in 2020 when I got the tractor. I figure with my tractor use I have enough to last the rest of my life.

To the OP, I would use it. It's not going to go bad. Just don't lay the bottle on its side or store near an open flame.

I just mix the old with some fresh, no preservative. Never had a fuel problem.

Some people read way to much into the fine print.

The bottle says "treats up to 100 gallons". And "shelf life of 12 - 18 months".

But I burn about 20 gallons of diesel a year. So now I have 3 expired bottles of fuel additive on the shelf.

What do you do with your old additive?
I was in the military as a field medic in the Gulf War. All our medicines and IV meds also were expired by many years. Use the additive.

I dunno... heck we`re still using fuel additives that i bought back when we got our tractor brand new in 2017, and we have had zero gel issues in the cold NE.

Maybe just for peace of mind, i`ll throw it all out and buy some fresh additives over this summer.

As for getting rid of the old stuff, i`ll probably just dump in my used oil collection tank.

That's a good idea, but I have to ask...

Is the diesel additive safe to burn in a furnace?

I give my used oil to someone that burns it in their shop-building furnace.
