Old Arc Welder Question

I have one of those units that start with a battery. You can get the rods at most welding supply. I think they call them a jet torch. They are mostly used for gouging and rough cutting. They might work pretty good in one of those track units to cut straight lines, or a circle cutter.

I got mine rather cheap, but I understand that cost several hundred dollars.

I'll check tonight when I get home. My Forney is a 180 amp also. Welds great and the price was right.
