I am getting my MF 253 ready for spring and have a question on the linkage pump oil strainers. My manual describes 2 strainers, a linkage pump oil strainer and an auxiliary and linkage pump strainer. The auxiliary strainer is easy to find, but there is nothing in the location shown (bottom of the transmission case) for the other strainer.
This tractor is a 1991 model manufactured in England. Are there one or two strainers on this model? If there are two, where did they hide the second one?
