Hello Gentleman,
This switch should be hooked up to the external LED light that should be mounted in the area of steering wheel, so that you know that engine has a low oil pressure. I'm not sure if PT is using this feature. IT IS NOT A LOW OIL SENSOR AND IT WILL NOT TURN OFF YOUR ENGINE!

They did not use it on my 422 built about 4 years ago. The switch is there, but nothing is connected to the wire coming out of the end of the switch.
