Josh, where did you measure those temps at, the tank, cooler, or just where. I have never checked mine, will see what it is.

After mower grass on a 85 degree day for about half an hour (engine at full throttle) the Shell Rottella 15w-40 was 147 degrees.

Tank should be the proper place to check temps although I guess you could do it on the outflow of the radiator.

Dragging harrow for 30ish minutes. 190 reservoir oil 170 tank metal. At this point i couldnt go up the smallest incline. Just for a test i hooked up pto to log splitter and my oil cooler fan came on instantly.

Should i plumb the oil cooler into the main hydraulics rather than just pto? Running 10w40 like the book says. Kansas summer. Temp is 90-95 and humid. Running engine at full or 3/4 makes no difference. 30hp deutz. It never bogs, i just hear hydraulic whine. Any ideas? Basically i have no power after machine gets worked for a good 30min (if you haven't read the whole trend)

Wow. You're lucky to have the exact model number of the pump. You might want to call B&P on Monday (they're in Ashland VA I think) and enquire about sourcing a new one. Wouldn't hurt to know the cost. Although, it may take quite a while to get one.
