I occasionally see B3030 owners wondering how to do a neater oil change.
The loader mount is directly under the oil pan drain plugs.
There are two access holes in the mount for socket clearance, but no way will the oil flow through them!

Enter the Form-a-Funnel.
It's a 6 1/2" x 14 1/2" flexible green sheet of metal reinforced vinyl like material.
I was able to shape it to direct the hot oil around the loader mount and into the drain pan.
When the first side drained,I slid it over and pulled the other drain plug.
Didn't work too bad, with minimal mess.
While not perfect,it was the neatest oil change yet on this tractor.

Hope someone finds this usefull.

Good Luck!

I have a form a funnel, never used it yet.

Never heard of it. I'll have to look that up.

Normally I just put a big drain pan under it and let it run. Then use a can of brake and parts cleaner to spray it off clean when I'm done.

It's like vinyl coated lead sheeting. I have been wanting to try one for some time. I think they have different shapes and sizes too.

You can make one with a piece of aluminum flashing.

Yep. Also, in a pinch, a sheet of heavy duty aluminum cooking foil, doubled or tripled over before forming.

Yeah, thanks, I need to remember that trick. I have been doing the McGyver/cardboard/duct tape thingy as previously mentioned. Usually resulting in oil all over my hands. :)

Our local NAPA stocks them, great tool

I'm shocked that there are not holes in the sides, or just corners, to wire it into position. I can see using it and it decides to slip out.

I don't think I have ever done an oil change where the old oil doesn't end up all over the place.

I have a metal hole punch tool so if I needed holes, I would add some (just like my belts).

The above works.

I also make funnels out of my wife's "freezer paper". Tear off a piece and form into a funnel. Tape it together, square the ends with a pair of scissors and I rarely spill a drop.
