Back story is the owners wife was operating the tractor, she's no rookie and has been working along side her husband for years. They work 1000 acres of row crops and several hundred acres of pecans including the ones they lease from us. She walked away with one scratch on her face no other damage.

I really feel this is a freak accident I've been in the same situation before and there are many blindspots on one of these orchard tractors, usually the cage will catch the limb and direct it up and over but this one must have lined up just right between the tubes.

Well thank you for the update. It is good to hear she got out with only a scratch. And yes, you have now the perfect description of "freak accident". Over the years she had probably watched hundreds of thousands of limbs slide up and over the cage. No reason to think anything would go otherwise. Then out of the blue, this happens.
