OFFSET BOBTACH

I need to offset my snow blower to one side or ther other so that I can blow closer to the egde of the road, with out going in the ditch. THe dork that made the road forgot that a shoulder would have been nice.... my thought was to buy a BOBTACH and cut off the pin connections that mount the bobtach to the boom of the Bobcat, then weld this to a new connection plate, might need something inbetween the modified bobtach and the plate so that it will all work out. the ideal thing would be to have the thing adjustable/slidable so that you can offset the blower to either side...

A friend of mine has a tiller on his SSL and one side the motor hangs out and the other is flush with the machine. When working around walls and rescesses he had to offset it. We first put the quick tach plate offset with bolts but it was a pain. so we then took the plate and 2 sets of reciever tube and hitch tube and made a greasble slide out of it. then we put on a small cylinder to ofset it. works real good has about 18 inches of travel could have been more, we can add a longer cylinder later.

What about some form of side wing? Could give you 3-4 ft when extended. Saw a post here on TBN about one.
