JonE, what you have is a manufacture's site licensed version. It has been modified to only run on specific make/models of a particular brand.
You will have to buy a full version in order to make it run on your other pc. (Buy an upgrade version, as it is a full version, but will require a WIN 98 full version cd to get the proper info off of it for install - price is about 1/2 of full version)
Also, your proprietary version will only be supported by HP, as MS will have nothing to do with it.
