Scarlet Tanager?

Thank for posting the Tanager. We had one last spring but could not get nearly as good a picture. They certainly are striking.

Here in central Indiana we have those bright colored finches. I've seen bright yellow, orange and red. There's also this blue heron who seems to think our pond is a buffet just for him. No wonder I can't get any fish to grow up.

Stick one of these out near your pond, wjoerob. That heron won't come back for sushi.
